TerraSpec & other NIR

SWIR/NIR devices like TerraSpec equipment provide geologists with a powerful tool for mineral vectoring. Although not all minerals are spectrally active in this range, important alternation minerals like clays/micas, chlorites, biotites and others can be reported and investigated to hopefully gauge proximity to the ore body

Sample Preparation Tools

Depending on project goals, sample preparation equipment may be needed to get the most representative material prepared in the optimal way for XRF, LIBS or TerraSpec analysis.

Lithodata offers a wide range of equipment including beater mills, angle grinders for rock pulp collection and sample presses.

XRF Soil Cups and XRF Accessories

Soil Cups may be used when presenting soil samples or rock pulp to XRF optics for analysis. Lithodata keeps a local supply to ensure quick availability for customers.

NRCan XRF Certification Training

Although Lithodata pairs XRF rental equipment with detachable shielded workstations, NRCan XRF certification training is a requirement for handheld XRF use. Please contact Lithodata for information on the 1 day course, exam, and XRF certification application.
